Paola C. presents the new collection of objects for the table
produced by young designers from the Royal College of Art of London
coordinated by Aldo Cibic.

During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (The Milan International Furniture Fair) Paola C. will present a collection of table accessories designed by a number of young designers attending the School of Design at the Royal College of Art in London and coordinated by Aldo Cibic. The brief discussed with the students a year ago focused on the desire to produce a design image characterised by smooth charming lines, to create simple and sophisticated ideas for the table.
The recommended materials were ceramic, silver coloured metal, glass and resins.

The designs selected belong to a group of students as seen below:
Yuko Tsurumaro: tea-candle lamp
Noel Batt: serving plate
Kelly Sant: ceramic fruit bowl
Arash Kaynam & Pascal Anson: metal fruit bowl & plastic tub reproduced in ceramic
Kristina Niedderer: jug with 2 goblets and metal glasses
Afioditi Krassa: tall metal jug
Lola Llorca: 4 glasses with ring type handle
Camilla Groth: ceramic cup and saucer
Camilla Ingman: ceramic fruit bowl with 3 layered plates

This initiative, which will be followed by others from different schools of design, aims to boost the visibility of the potential of younger designers who will then see their works actually produced. The projects which most fall within the scope of Paola C.’s image will become part of the collection and manufactured and sold accordingly.
